Hi, I'm Helena (Hel-ay-na!)

(Don't worry – almost everyone says it wrong the first time!)

I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my dream was to have a house full of them - especially Huskies or any giant breed. I always imagined a career where I could spend my days outdoors, surrounded by animals. As life often does, it took me down a different path.

I spent several years working in care before moving into a work from home based role as a Care Manager. While I enjoyed helping people, I gradually realised something was missing. Working from home behind a desk, I felt disconnected from the lifestyle I'd always dreamed of.

Everything changed in March 2026.

My partner surprised me with a visit to meet a litter of German Shepherd puppies, and that's when I met Fenrir. From the moment he came home, he completely changed my life.

Before he was even old enough to go on walks, we carried him everywhere with us - to cafés, parks and anywhere we could safely socialise him. He attracted attention wherever he went! Once he was finally allowed out on proper walks, I discovered just how much I loved spending time outdoors with him. Watching him explore the world, stopping to sniff every leaf, investigating every tree and enjoying every new adventure reminded me to slow down and appreciate the little things too.

After nearly five years behind a desk, something clicked. I realised I didn't want my office to have four walls - I wanted it to be woodland trails, open fields and country parks. I wanted my lunch break to be on a bench overlooking nature, surrounded by happy dogs. I genuinely love being outdoors, whatever the weather. Rain is actually my favourite (yes, really!), and if there's a thunderstorm rolling in, I'm probably happier than most people!

That's how Fenrir Pack Walks was born.

Since then, I've spent countless hours building my business, learning everything I can about canine behaviour and welfare, creating a professional service, and preparing to give every dog the care they deserve.

I'm fully insured, canine first aid trained, DBS checked, and committed to treating every dog as if they were my own.

Whether your dog loves energetic adventures, gentle strolls, one-to-one attention or simply getting out to explore the world, my aim is always the same - to make every walk safe, enriching and full of tail wags.

I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else, and I never take that responsibility lightly. My promise is to care for your dog with the same patience, kindness and enthusiasm that I give to Fenrir every single day.
